Sense of Food

A foodie in my heart, soul and mind I was born to a warm and loving Bengali family in Kolkata where they greeted one another by asking with great curiosity ‘Ki kheli’ (what did you eat?). In my childhood days I made no mistake in relishing the exotic cuisines while reject the ordinary ones indisputably. The colour, smell and nature of Indian spices took me into a culinary space where various senses can be evoked. The sizzling sound of fresh spice in hot oil gave me a feeling of immense satisfaction. I love stirring up delectable dishes for my family and friends which led me to discover the passion for food.I find it rather exciting to stir up something on-the-spot with basic ingredients bringing a hearty smile on a hungry face. An ardent fan of Julia Child the French Cook who taught the world how to Master the Art of French Cooking I have learnt a great deal of creative culinary techniques from her. Cooking has never been a headache for me as I swing along in the kitchen preparing food for my loved ones. Today Brinta earnestly wants to share her passion for food with the world and encourage many to become great cooks in their own stlye.
